• Gameplay Statistics: Quiz scores, progress, and category preferences stored in Firestore.
• Device Information: Basic device type and OS version to ensure app compatibility.

• Syncing your progress across multiple devices.
• Generating global leaderboards and user rankings.
• Improving the difficulty curve and question variety based on aggregate (non-identifiable) performance data.

Our backend architecture relies on Google Firebase. All data is encrypted in transit via SSL/TLS and at rest within Google’s secure data centers.

We use the following third-party sub-processors:

• Firebase (Google): For database, hosting, and authentication.
• Unsplash/CDNs: For serving high-quality trivia images (no personal data is shared with these providers).
